We took the sunset boat tour. I was able to get some great pictures from the water of the downtown Wilmington area, bridges, battleship, and sunset. The information given was interesting. Staff was kind and helpful. It was something different and enjoyable to do.

We took the evening scenic cruise on the riverboat and had a fantastic time. The captain gave us all the local history of the landmarks we passed and had a great sense of humor. You absolutely cannot beat the price. This is a great outing for families or even first dates. My husband and I actually took the cruise on a Friday night and I enjoyed it so much I took my 16 year old son on it the next night and he loved it as well.

Thoroughly enjoyed a comfortable trip on the Cape Fear riverboat. Interesting commentary by the captain about the geography and history of the area. Would highly recommend!

In 4 short hours we were introduced to the history, wildlife, environmental concerns and current uses of the Cape Fear and Black Rivers. The boat was clean and comfortable, the guide was both incredibly knowledgeable and personable and the River was absolutely beautiful. We will be repeating this trip in the fall so we can see how the river changes with the seasons.

The tour was a great historical experience for those of us who love history and appreciate the natural environment. Wish we could have experienced it with just my husband and I. …Would definitely go again.

My daughter and I went on this cruise on Mother’s day and we just loved it. It was sunny and warm but the breeze off the water felt so nice. The tour guide was funny and gave lots of interesting information about the Wilmington area along the Cape Fear river. I would definitely go again if in the area, but would love to go at night next time.

A very nice tour of the river around Wilmington. Although it was obviously a slow day (a Sunday afternoon during mid-March) and we had only a few folks on the boat, the captain did a great job of describing the sites on the river. I will definitely try this again during my next trip with more family in the summer.

My date and I had a really good time. This was our first time going on the riverboat cruise and we were very satisfied. All of the historic landmarks were very cool to learn about. I’ve been here all my life and never knew he amount of history this city held. Would definitely go again.
